“Over the past 15 years, Brad observed a startling change in corporate America; the latest generation of adult workers known as Generation Y grew up immersed in new technologies, such as multi-player video games, Speak & Spell, Internet Pen Pals and a computer in the home. Along with parents who viewed them as peers and a micromanaged activity list of karate classes and dance lessons. And now you expect them to sit in a cubicle for 8 hours a day? They can’t do it.”

Joe Cubiotti Photography

“Because each generation after 1977 was raised with technology in their toys, they have learned to manipulate digital information before they could read, write, and sometimes… before they could speak.“Unbeknown to most, companies such as Kodak derive 50% of their current revenue from the same technologies mentioned above. Devices that did not exist 5 years ago that directly take advantage of the working and shopping habits of Generation Y.”

Joe Cubiotti Photography

“Will Baby Boomers stop being relevant
in the not too distant future?”

Joe Cubiotti Photography

Szollose studied this phenomenon and realized that everyone—business owners, executives, parents, school teachers and college professors —would be facing a whole new generation that they were incapable of communicating with. Each generation must be made aware of this “cultural” difference and adjust their management methods accordingly if they wish to succeed. The result of this research is Brad’s new book, Liquid Leadership: From Woodstock to Wikipedia – Multigenerational Management Ideas That Are Changing The Way We Run Things.”

“Are you ready to adjust your leadership style to the 21st Century?”

Bobbie Grei

MAXIM Magazine Model: Bobbie Grei

Recording Artist/ Model and MAXIM’s 2013 Hometown Hotties Finalist.

Bobbie Grei

Bobbie created quite a reputation and name for herself in the New York City night scene by running the doors at some Manhattan’s trendiest night spots. She was offered her first recording deal at the age of 17 with an independent dance record label which she declined due to the fact that they did not come to an agreement on her image and refused to settle and compromise her good reputation before she even had one. She later moved on to work with several other independent producers and managers that kept bringing her closer and closer to her goals such as the Grammy nominated producers, The Buchanan’s who immediately signed her to there label, Buchanan’s Music Works as their first exclusive artist in 2006.

 Bobbie Grei

Now, independently Bobbie has collaborated with numerously talented producers, writers and DJ’s who have worked together to create a string of unique hits that truly embody all of which is Bobbie Grei. Her music has no specific genre, bypasses all boundaries set by the corporate music world. Musical influences include Prince, Madonna, Ella Fitzgerald, Whitney Houston, Janet and Michael Jackson, Cindy Lauper and Mariah Carey.

Bobbie Grei

Currently, Bobbie Grei has been acknowledged by MAXIM magazine as one of their top 10, 2013 Hometown Hotties Finalists. Being a triple threat, Bobbie is prepared to take over the world with her hypnotizing voice and lager then life heart.

Business is Art.

In Cities, Towns & Villages, People on May 31, 2011 at 3:32 pm

It’s great to hear more and more friends tell me that they found jobs doing what they love rather than settling for a job just to say that they have one. How could someone who invested 4 years and thousands of dollars to go through college be satisfied with a job that pays $10 an hour?  I try to ignore people that say the job market is dead in the toilet for college grads and that it can’t be done. In fact, I see people every day going to work, pulling in to shopping malls and driving $100,000 cars so apparently it can be done!

I remember in history class when we studied time periods where the “Gap” between the rich and the poor was larger than ever but in all reality, it seems like not too much has changed. It’s crazy to drive through cities like Miami and Los Angeles where some people are living the “Good Life” while other people living a mile down the road can hardly afford to ride the bus.

I’m lucky enough that I have a car after a couple of months without one so it’s easy to realize that the odds of finding work and a way of “making it” aren’t stacked against me but apparently working in my favor. All it really takes to make something happen is a little bit of passion and patience. Timing is everything.
